XKR or F-type convertibles?

Hi All, I’m looking for some advice. I have up to £25k to spend and want to buy an auto convertible (with electric roof) and some room in the boot for bags when the roof is down? Preferably with add-ons like parking sensors, sat nav etc. in your opinions would I be better looking for an XKR or an F-type, and any advice along the way? Many thanks Nigel

Hi, My 2015 XJL has developed an intermittent problem of on occasions it will not turnover and start. This appears to be linked with opening and closing the boot as the non-starting can occur after I have placed something in the boot and sometimes can start after opening and shutting the boot. Recently the engine stopped when in traffic I pulled into the side of the road to allow oncoming traffic through…..the ECO stop start stopped the engine and it refused to restart. Hi All Second post, so still need to be gentle with me 🙂 So, been doing a fair amount of research onto the best boots for my 2011 XKR-S... General consensus seems to be Mich Pilot Sport 4S (happy for people to say otherwise!)... Suspect current tyres on newly purchased car (with stage 1 remap, so think about 570HP) have a really decent set of Continental tyres, suspect 6-8mm tread depth... So, my question/s are: 1) Will the Pilot Sport 4S be the 'night and day' change that some posts {elsewhere}

Hi All Newbie here, so be gentle ;o) Had (in order) XF, XJ, XKR-S, XFR (stolen), 650i (sorry for defection!), XKR-S (again, since last Thurs, 55th b'day present to me!)... So, is there any point actually updating the stanav maps via DVD, for a 2011 car? I can see 2020 map disks online around £20, is it actually worth it for a car of this age? Cheers Jason
