Hi all! I bought my first ever Jag today after dreaming of owning one since I was a kid. I bought a very tidy 2006 2.2l diesel X Type that has done 72k miles with full service history! Very excited to be apart of this community!

Just like to say hello from North Lincolnshire. I've recently become an owner of a beautiful 2015 Jaguar Xf. It's a car that I've coveted since their introduction and have now realised an ambition of owning one. Thanks for accepting my request to join the forum, I'm looking forward to learning lots from you very knowledgeable guys.

You can’t wash them too much. I’m out there every other day — topless. Gives the curtain twitchers a thrill 🤣 I sometimes worry about the power washer that I use. Don’t know if I’ve caused paint damage or if I’m just seeing things I couldn’t see when it was dirty. I’m wondering if I’ve taken away some previously damaged spots that were maybe peeling already. I don’t know. It could definitely do with a paint job, however, but I can’t afford it. All the best, mate Marty

Thank you all, I don't think I'll ever tire of looking at the Jaguar, I still find it hard to believe I've actually got one. Question, can you ever wash them too much? I don't want to be that man in the street that's always out there washing and polishing! Every other day will be okay, yes?

Newbie here, I joined a week ago, can anyone recommend a garage that can do a timing belt on XF S, 2011 3ltr Diesel? I've tried loads around Leicestershire, no one seems to be able to take the job on. Thanks in advance. Andrew

Hi All, I have recently inherited an S-Type 2.7 diesel 2007 so i am back in the Jag game after a few years away. I had an XJ6 years ago and I loved it to bits but I was living in a flat with only on-street parking, and a steep hill to boot! So when it gave me consistent trouble I sold it. But now I have an under cover place to work I'm delighted to be getting my hands oily again. My step Dad was sadly very ill before he died and couldn't drive it so it was not driven for almost a year and feeling sorry for itself. I'm gradually bringing it back to life and making my way through the fault codes. I've done a few things so far: New Exide battery, clamp and connectors New brake callipers and hoses New tires Its still in Restricted performance, but I'm narrowing it down.
