  1. Hi everyone, I've recently bought a black V6 3l AWD estate X-Type for a fairly low price. The interior looks like new. The exterior is not bad either, but the chassis is quite rusty. It comes from Switzerland so maybe the salty winter roads are to be blamed for that. I have several things to do to get it up to shape and I hope I'll find some answers in that forum 🙂 All the bests!

Hi all, Since the beginning of the year a prowd owner of an XK8 and new to the forum. I really really love this car. I've made some cool modifications: I changed the location of the licenceplate. Like with so many of us, it was screwed right on the nose, in front of the air intake, hiding its E-type origins. I managed to move it underneath the bumber and fixed it with a spring loaded plate holder that is able to flip back and forth on speed bumps etc. A major improvement to the looks of the car. I installed a back up camera in the boot lid and a monitor in the cup holder tray (removed the cup holders). Parking to the centimeter! I made a USB-C hub for my phone which is connected to a FM-modulator so I can listen to Spotify. I'll share some pics with you when I can. Marc O and by the way, I'm from the Netherlands (born in 1964). VID20220514153554.mp4
