just bought a 2007 X-type and it came with a Bury phone mount that appears to be wired into the system. I have not as yet found any bluetooth connection ( i'm guessing the cat may be a little too old for that), but i would like to make it hands free if possible through the car. is it possible to safely remove update the cradle and its wiring OR do i need to look at a new earpiece for BT ? TIA

Hi there, My name is Steve and i've just become the happy owner of a 2007 X-type 2.0 Diesel. Bought with 117000 on the clock and i've put another 300 on it in 3 days. So far loving it, and glad I bought it. Have already found a 'specialist ' parts dealer, but was hoping for other leads if and when needed and i'm looking forwards to getting help from yourselves as required, should i run into problems. I also ride a Honda Varadero 1000 motorcycle and i'm the County Rep for the Royal British Legion Riders Branch. I like to do as much of my own mechanicing as possible, and dont mind getting my hands dirty.
