    Sounds similar. Genuine parts never cheap and don't really want to spend the money unless i'm convinced it will fix the problem.

    Good morning, I recently purchased a Jaguar XKR from a dealer. One of the issues i have which the dealer seems reluctant to fix under the warranty is brake squeal from the front end. The car had new discs ans pads all round prior to purchase. I've been advised from a third party that the problem is down to cheap aftermarket brake pads rather than genuine Jaguar parts. I'd be interested to know if anyone has experience/views that could help me with this issue. Regards Phil
