    Gearbox, DSC, Parking Brake Fault then No Brake Lights after new battery

    Jaguar XFS 3.0D 2011: just had the same problem with " Gearbox Fault. Parking Brake Fault, DSC not available" and rear brake lights not working. The AA have diagnosed the problem as being a faulty brake switch which is interlinked with the other systems and setting off the Fault warnings. Having checked the logged Fault codes for no other issues the Car is reported as being safe to drive to the dealer to have the switch changed, noting that the brake lights aren't working!
