When I purchased the car the glasses holder was held closed with blue-tack, so never noticed it until wanting to hide my sunglasses. Catch is broken, have seen the complete console for sale on EBay, but does anyone know if just the catch is available separately. Regards Weltidave

Hi my 2004 S-Type V6 was displaying the same noises from the rear end, especially at low speeds. My local garage diagnosed the problem was the rear wishbones. Not a cheap fix, but problem resolved.

Many thanks Joe, certainly very helpful, will do the basic checks. My work colleague has same s type model and his glow light stays on for approx 3 seconds when both started under same temperature conditions, so confused. Regards Dave

Experiencing poor cold weather starting on my 2.7 diesel automatic. Noticed the glow lamp is only staying on for approx. 1 second. Suspect the timer relay is faulty, can anyone advise where it's located.
