Good morning! I'm a former classic car enthusiast (well, still an enthusiast but I haven't owned one for quite a few years) and always used to run interesting cars, especially sporty saloons (typically old Lancias). Never owned a Jaguar (and currently still don't) but yesterday I had a test drive in a couple of XE's (a 180 and a 163). Really, REALLY liked them both! I'm in the market for a new company car and the 163 Sport R looks a cracker and good on tax too, so the question is; What should I know about / be aware of / ask about? Every car has its quirks, so I would be very appreciative if someone could advise me about the niggles / questions that you spot within the first few weeks / months of ownership of the XE. Don't pull your punches; I'm probably about to buy this thing so what should I know? What am I letting myself in for? Thanks.
