    not starting right when engine warms up

    Hi all New to the group. I have a x-type 2.0 2006. Had the warm start issue whereby it would fire and hover around 500rpm with no accelerator function at all for about 10 seconds. Thereafter it would return to normal rpm and run fine. Has been doing this for the past 5 months. Today I took it to the local jag specialist for the ECU updating to latest software and all patches available. I was very worried that I would be throwing money down the drain. 2 hrs later picked it up and it's like a different car. Starts first time every time. Took it for an hour drive and started up straight after. Cost me £90. I know they're old posts but hopefully the information will help someone. ALLS GOOD NOW.
