Hi all again i have a 2002 jaguar xj8 executive se. I have the four button alarm fob which i know works because I've had it tested. Now I've seen the video's on u tube and i tried them all. So my alarm works fine as does the central locking with the key in the door and is the only way to open and close the car. Is there something I'm missing?

Hi all I need some help. I bought a xj8 yesterday and the fob to operate the alarm boot ect .. is not working. Right I've tried to do the key in ignition position 1 and flash main beam four times. No churp nothing at all. So then cleaned the face of ignition barrel all fine. The fob and the mother board cleaned with wd40 and a small paint brush. Still car open or close the car via the fob only the key. Any ideas please? Thanks all.
