    dreaded restricted performance issue

    Hi guys I have a 2007 s-type 2.7TD I am chasing a fault with the car I have no codes stored in the memory but for the last week It refuses to come out of restricted performance mode. I have a obd scanner and it dosent seam to find any fault codes, I have cheacked it on other vehicles and it reads them ok, it reads all the info like vin number etc but shows not fault codes. the only issue I have with the car is the drivers rear light cluster brake light is constantly on on the dash and I know the light cluster board has a fault but surely that wouldn't cause permanently on??
