Nice to hear but don't get use to it lol mine has turned into a real money pit
  4. Could be egr valve, Just got this off internet hope it helps friend's XF had very similar problems...pulling away from junctions or roundabouts and the engine lost power briefly, before springing back to life. The Jag dealership had the car in several times but were unable to find the problem initially, it wasn't untill they had the car in for a few weeks that eventually the cause was discovered. They replaced the EGR valve (Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve) and everything was fine thereafter. I hope this gives you something to look into. Or it could be fuel related
  5. could be a sensorthe most likely culprit is a faulty washer fluid level sensor. This sensor, located within the washer fluid reservoir, may be malfunctioning and sending an incorrect signal to the dashboard. To resolve this, you'll need to have the sensor tested and replaced if necessary. or thermostat related
  6. EXIDE EK151 AGM 12V 15AH 200A Auxiliary Battery i have 2 batteries on my 2015 stop/start xf x250 went to single battery on x260 2015 on
  7. If it is an xf with full dealer history then go for it just make sure you have a good bank balance ,they can be a money pit as I have found out
  8. Thought stop/start was only on 2015 x250 xf so it was euro 6 compliant

  16. hi john engine light still on but got the code which is P245A says exhaust gas ? any idea's,car is running perfect
  17. thanks John 👍
  18. Also I was advised that AGM batteries only last 4-5 years and mine was approaching that when it started losing charge.
  19. At least 5yr old
  20. Hi John can't seem to get the code up, erased the light last time car is running perfect that's why I changed the fuel cap but its come back on again, think my battery might be on its way out though its at least 5yr old if I don't use it for about 3 days vents don't open and get low battery message but the light originally came on after doing a 360 mile trip to Cornwall but it brought me back with no worries that's why I was thinking it was something simple ?
  21. Hi all can a bad auxiliary battery bring up the eml ?
  22. Thanks John ordered one 👍 seen them but was a bit hesitant being a cheap ebay item
  23. Could be as a simple as a faulty fuel filler cap but you need a code reader plugging in
