The old stereo system has seen better days and the head unit is not recognizing the 6 stacker CD unit in the boot and the GPS is not working?

The driver's window is not playing the game,pressing the up button and it goes down, thinking electrical ? And a more concerning matter is when out driving just at random the 3l V6 will start ''popping'' and going back through the gears where I will pullover and put it in park and turn it off!. After 10-30 seconds I restart and can be okay for another 150km before it does it again! I'm thinking it has to have a diagnostic tool on the computer? cheers jacko

Well no one seems interested so maybe my best way forward is to take the door skin off and take it to a auto lect to test the circuits and find the problem that way?

I've just bought a S-type jag and on the way home the drivers window went down and then would not go up! About 4 inches it would rise and come down to settle at 2 inches! Before I try and take the door skin off can anyone give me pointers? cheers jacko
