Afternoon Jon, I have just bought a 3.0 twin turbo XF with a new MOT other than an advisory that the rear brake discs are showing signs of corrosion. I have bought Brembo discs and pads and thought about changing them myself but have been told a computer is needed to 'reset' the electronic handbrake. Jaguar are expensive and don't want to use aftermarket parts but a couple of local mechanics who have helped with other cars say it is about an hours work and they have the software to reset everything. Hoping to have the discs changed in the next month or so! Not sure if this helps! Best wishes. Jon Collins.
