Parking sensor not working on my xj8 l 4.2 350. 2005 can anybody help please.

Hi all just parked up but the car won’t start a i put it in park but the R red light is illuminated?

As above or hopefully some advice

My recently acquired xjl 4.2 v8, doesn’t put out any sound at all, I’m told it’s the amplifier ,would anyone know for one for sale please😎Thanks Rae.
