Anybody out there that can direct me to a fare priced insurance company for a driver of 28 years with a flawless driving history who wants to insure his xj8 on a classic policy. The car is worth £1000 pounds and some quotes are more than half its value. I only want to drive it on high days and dry days. Can it be put on a classic policy? (1998) and if so who would you suggest. Regards Ian.

Hi every body, i'm in the market for a mid 90,s xj6 to satisfy my desire to own a big cat as i've always wanted a jag since birth. Has any of you more experienced members got any advice on what to look for when testing a car apart from the obvious as i know all about the basics having driven and still am, a Triumph vitesse soft top. Your advice would be greatly appreciated and valued or does anyone know of such a vehicle that might be worth looking at. Regards, Ian
