    Diesel Turbo Problems

    Just had the same restricted performance messages. On restarting it would come on again after various distances - a few hundred yards to a mile. It became more frequent and turned out to be a very dirty air filter (despite recent service?). Replaced air filter and no more messages. I thought it was going to be expensive but cost £12!

    Hello All! Had to give up on bikes due to a knackered knee. Bought a 2006 S type 2.7D on Saturday. Still smiling. I didn't know a car could be this good! It does have high miles (139,000) but impeccable service history so I took the chance. I guess the next few weeks will decided if I am right or wrong to have bought it. Other than the high miles it is completely immaculate. Bill in Somerset
