hello club members, i am the proud owner of a 2006 black s type r which i purchased a week ago, and may i say what a car. i used to have a diesel s type 2 years ago which i loved but being a petrol head decided to purchase an mg zt v8 se in black, dont get me wrong it was a lovely rare car but was always going to be a stop gap before my ulitmate purchase being the s type r. im fully aware of all there clitches ie air con issues, gear box lurching, tyre ware,mines clitch free apart from a possible intermitant air con fault, but hey you only live once and you cannot take your hard earned cash with you so what the hell, on a plus side my wife and kids love it and the missus took it for her first drive today, shes got her own little run around so she will only drive on long trips if i want a break!!!!............laugh.......not that often ha ha, and ive got my works van so my jags milage should be only around 4000 a year which ime pleased about. i will be making good use of this club and its info because lets face it, its who you know! as jaguar garages are good at ramming up credit card balances, anyway time for tea, and thanks for the exitance of the s type r.
