Possibility, but as it`s intermittent I doubt it, when trying to start it shows the battery sign ?

I bought my big cat less than a year ago, second hand, & now I have a problem starting, At first I tried 2 or 3 times & it would start but it`s slowly getting worse, Today it took 10 goes before it started. Anyone else have this problem ? My local Jag specialist says he`s come across loads like it & never got to the bottom of the problem. Any help ?
