  1. Just another consideration. I had the same whirring sound, I did the Rear Bearings but the noise remained and then changed the tyres from budget to Hankooks and that almost cured the noise. The old Budget tyres had feathered on the edge, much happier now. :D
  2. Welcome to the forum Keith
  3. Well done mate, now dont you feel better. Happy new year
  4. Well done fella its a good start. Ive still not sorted the rear sensors but apart from that...not sayin anymore. Happy new year mate.
  5. Orpington, Kent
  6. An XJ driver once said to me, that the reason they were considered old mans cars is because only older blokes could afford them, That made me feel better. P.S Still lovin the jag
  7. Bit disapointed it stopped snowing but had a couple of twitchy moments, it behaved more like a rear wheel drive. More at the rear I expect.
  8. Im looking forward to my first drive in the Jag in snow !!!
  9. Its not just a 2.1 SE, its a JAG mate. Looks like you got loads goin on too and I know its down to costs etc Yes, recently Ive been in front of a couple of S Types and really like the look of them apart from the front grill and that they are not AWD but who knows in the future ??????????. Never say never. Good luck with yours mate keep us posted.
  10. Hi mate just bought 100ml of the same aditive. Will do it this weekend. Thanks for the reply
  11. Perfect mate not a mark or blemish, leather A1, phone, sat nav upgraded to 2011/12 for a tenner all working ok and only 70k on the clock. Yea didnt expect that arm replacement. Ive got a couple of other niggles left to sort such as a sqeaky steering wheel but just bought an additive to hopefully cure it for a tenner and tha reverse sensors are not working and hopefully thats it. Ive got to say it is worth it though, why are you scraping yours ?
  12. Just realised this is a very old post

  19. Hi if its a 2.5 or 3.0 sport It would be AWD I dont think they made any others and I dont think they make AWD Diesels either Im new to X Types but this is my belief. Hope it helps.
  20. Totally lovin it, I took it up motorway today just to see what she could do and was so impressed with the effortless acceleration. Ive have loads of BM'S including an M3 but love this more. It just feels classy. I bought and fitted the upgards grill too today makes the front look a lot more a younger blokes car. In short a great buy and great to drive.
