    Reply to joe on dpf and mot it is not illegal to remove a dpf and you do not need one for an mot. But it is illegal!!! To drive a vehicle which was manufactured with one from new,on a public road. So if you bought a vehicle where it had been removed prior to your purchase you would be driving illegaly as soon as you drove off, and at a fine of between £1000-£2000 a time probably not wort it. Keith. Ps i just bought a brand new pdf for my V6 3.lt xf for £360 had been qouted up to £1100 just have to be patient in your search and be prepared to negotiate.
