I have just had a very similar issue. 2016 F-Pace with about 65,000 miles on the clock, which my local garage has said has suffered 'catastrophic engine failure.' They have suggested I take it up with Jaguar and the local dealership has just given me their 'phone number. I have read the advice above, but anything further is gratefully received. In a similar way to some of the above cases, it was driving fine, then lost power and displayed a 'restricted performance' warning before failing completely. I am really disappointed and did not expect this from Jaguar.
