Hi all, I have a Jaguar XF. When I get the DPF red light it usually takes an 1-hour drive on the motorway to clear it. But last time it happen, I tried twice driving for an hour but the red light did not clear. I was almost at the point of taking the car to the garage for a manual clean but i decided to give it another go but this time I went for a longer 2-hour drive on the motorway. And to my delight, the red light disappeared. So if you get a DPF red light don't be discouraged. Go for a long drive on the motorway doing between 50-70mph and the problem will be solved.
