Hi, Anyone had any issues with engine failure of the above make and model? We were driving along the M25 on Sunday and everything just cut out; no warning - dashboard lit up and now the car won't even turn over. Looks like a total failure. 50k miles just done that same day. Car has been serviced every year that I've had it; was bought second hand, used approved from main dealer. Grateful if anyone has had previous experience with this who could advise. Car is on a PCP. Similar to these stories I have a 66 plate F-Pace 3.0l V6 AWD; dashboard lit up in fast lane of M25 and we lost all power and managed to get it into hard shoulder with 2 x kids in the car (yesterday of all days!!). Now it no longer starts. Had to get it towed home due to car seats in vehicle not fitting in recovery truck (long story - no isofix) and am getting an independent Jag specialist to see if he can diagnose issue but based on this thread seems like it could be expensive. It's on PCP so realistically I'll just give the car back to them. Just gone over 50k miles that same day! Been a great car otherwise; totally lost confidence in it now.
