  1. Try oldjaguar.com (australia) who have a kit and are very helpful. Also see the following: AUX Input for 2010MY-onward Jaguar X150 XK/XKR. © Old Jaguar Group, March 2021 The X150 XK/XKR did not have an AUX input from the factory, however the software & hardware of the infotainment system does support AUX, as this system is shared with the X250 XF. For the 2007-2009MY cars there is an automated routine in the JLR SDD diagnostic tool, to enable the AUX. This function was made available for the dealer-fit accessory called the Audio Connectivity Module. As the later cars had a factory fitted iPod/USB feature (Portable Audio) JLR decided to drop this activation routine for the 2010MY-onward vehicles. The AUX input is required when installing the Apple CarPlay & Android Auto kit, as there is no other means of bringing the audio into the vehicle. It is possible to activate the AUX input in 2010MY-onward X150’s however it’s not an automated routine, and requires “Coded Access” (a.k.a. Golden Key) in order to manually edit the Car Configuration File. The process for this manual activation is outlined below; Requirements; JLR SDD diagnostic system Battery charger Access to password/code generator There are online Password generator websites, some charge, some are free. If you are unable to get a Password on your own, contact us we can usually help (depending on timezones & workload). AUX activation process Start the SDD session
