  1. I have acquired a 2010 Jaguar XF 3L DIESEL, it is a non starter and has multiple faults on it. I have had a mobile vehicle technician round to do a full diagnostic check (which he did) , but due to the amount of faults he said he wouldn't know where to start with getting it back on the road. I have been given the name of an auto electrician but i've also been given the name of an independent Jag specialist (by another mechanic) who he said he uses when 'his software won't go far enough into the system'. That mechanic says it looks like it's been 'spiked' either an electrical surge or jump started incorrectly. So my question is what would people do? Bearing in mind wherever it goes it will need transporting so will cost £££, do I get the auto electrician round? Or do I plump for getting it transported to a Indy Jag specialist? In the hopes they can narrow it down to a couple of ECU'S that I can get off ebay?
