  1. I have the same problem, I just unplug the connectors from the ep module then plug them back in, it’s located in the boot drivers side behind the panel cover, just unscrew the luggage hook and remove the fir tree plug, first time was difficult to remove connectors so I rubbed some lubricants on the side of the connectors, now it’s a 2 minute job. I am booked into a local jag specialist next week, I hope they can solve this common problem on the s-type, good luck. David.

Hi all, just bought my first Jaguar 2 weeks ago, 07 plate S Type, it's been looked after very well, mostly Jaguar dealer stamps in the service book, A very low 76,000 miles, It's just a dream to drive. Already had lots of comments, nice car, lovely car, even had a merc driver tell me how nice a car it was. Hope to meet some of you at future meets. Dave in Yorkshire.
  4. Hi all ,new member here. I want to give my new to me s type 2.7 desiel an oil and filter change, first I took of the oil filter casing off but could not remove the oil filter cartridge, I expected it would just pull out but no such luck, can anyone help please?
