    Will not come out of park

    I have recently purchased a 2000 XJ8. Every now and again it will not come out of park, When this If happens, the starter motor will constantly spin. If I then touch the gear stick winning park ever so slightly. It will stop the starter motor from spinning. Also the windows stop working when stuck in parks. I really need some help on this one if possible guys and girls. Please can you help
