  1. It is a problem. I watched a youtube to overcome a similar issue, the recliner will only go backward and not forward. It was recommended to replace the seat control module with a later version. i.e. in my case a 2008 -2010 module. However, having fitted the replacement; another issue became apparent, the replacement part I was supplied was for the drivers seat and not the passenger seat. I naturally assumed it was the same. Good news is that I was able to bring the recliner forward refitted the old module and operated as before but at least the seat was in more comfortable position. Remedy, I've booked a visit to my local Jaguar Service Centre for advice and repair, hopefully overcomeing the problem once and for all. I have since learnt to my cost that this is a common issue with 2006 models. The module cost me £136 for a 2008 XKR X150 drivers seat. have you resolved your problem yet?
