    Hi, I have a 2009 3.0 D Jaguar XF [120k miles] and had the same issue pop up recently. I have now done the following for under £50 total [i.e no labour costs] and all very simple to do. 1 Redex DPF cleaner [£10] one dose in fuel and 30 min drive on motorway & dual carriageway. This gave a couple of days grace to do the rest. 2. Air filter [£4.50] + Air Mass Flow meters spray clean [£10.00] 3. Fuel Filter Change [£21.00] Engine now revs up to 5000 with no issues at all.
