  1. Hi John, Can I ask how you connected the camera in the kit from Empirical into the car? I've spoken to Dougie about this and I may use them to get a camera retrofitted to my 2018 Sportbrake. He said its no problem and the kit you bought will work fine for mine. But, I'm also considering changing the screen to a 10 inch Android-play after market unit. Dougie said if I chose that route I wouldn't need his kit and just need to buy a camera for £60 because the aftermarket 10" screens have the interface that his kits provide. So my conundrum now is how would I get a camera into the system. The screens come all plug and play but that's all behind the dash at the front of the car. Did you have to run the camera wires that came with your empirical kit through the car from the back to the front? If so, did was this difficult and was it through the roof liner or the floor? I'm hoping you can tell me it plugged into the loom at the back somewhere... 🤞. I've acquired a "new" tailgate button with the integral camera from a 2019 X260 that has the mini loom attached which is about 8" long and has two wires with plugs that I think are the coaxial connector and the power plug. Any help you can offer will be gratefully received. It didn't seem appropriate to ask Dougie as this option would mean I wouldn't need to buy from him. Cheers, Michael.
