  1. I have the same warning on my car...had a JLR specialist look at it and the problem is the airbag under the bonnet..it's being repaired next week.
  2. I have a 2016 XF sport and I can scroll through the menu to tyre pressures mate

I got a Yuasa battery from work.It was £117 including vat cost price about a month ago and got a local garage to fit it while the car was being serviced.I work for a large scottish motor factor and it helps...sometimes.
  8. So after a few phone calls this morning i've got a JLR mechanic fixing the car next friday. He knew exactly what was wrong with it when i told him the code and told me it's a very common fault on the 2.0d Igneium engine and that it could have been worse if i hadn't caught the problem now.£600 including vat and thats parts supplied too which i thought wasn't bad...Pentland JLR wanted £178+ vat just for the part alone.I'll updated this thread when the work has been done.
  9. Turns out it has issues that is beyond my local garage...they've told me it'll need to go to a JLR specialist.
  10. Hi Jim..i checked all fluids on sunday morning like i do every sunday and everything was fine.I've put the car into my local garage tonight and they seem to think it's a sensor too but won't know until tomorrow when they get it onto a code reader.I've got my fingers and toes crossed thats all it is but my luck is terrible so i'm expecting the worst but hoping for the best.
  11. This morning i had a warning light come on about my oil level.I was stopped at the time so switched the engine off, waited 10mins then checked my dipstick which was showing oil to the top mark.Would i be correct in thinking it's an oil level sensor problem or would it be another issue....i don't have a code reader to check it out.Any help would be appreciated.
  12. Fitted today and working with no warning light...😊
  13. Theres a good article in todays Sun (page 10) by Ross Clark on the Jaguar rebrand.
  14. Turned out ot be washer level sensor..ordered one from Jaguar..£20.98 including vat. Thanks for the help.
