  1. This happened to me about 5 months ago. The unit is on its way out. I managed to get a second hand one fitted for £100.
  2. No idea mate. Plug it in and see how it goes!
  3. I think you will end up regretting it if you don't get the XFR. Go for it!!!
  4. If you only got the car a month ago, I would be straight back to the dealer with the problem. If it was a private sale, its probably worth asking if the problem is legacy and also looking the the actual sensors. very odd for all 4 to go though. Do you have a code reader?
  5. Mine is doing the sae thing and I have been informed by my local garage that the compressor needs replacing at a cost of £980. So I am driving around with the windows open now.
  6. I have a 3.0 V6 and I had the rubber cam belt changed last year. No chain anywhere.
  7. If you have only just had this delivered, Id get straight back to the dealer with it.
  8. Yes, even being a smoker back then I never wanted to buy a car that stank of smoke!!!!!
  9. Just buy it. I got one nearly 2 years ago and although I have spent a bit keeping it running, it was well worth the driving experience!!!
  10. Welcome aboard Frank. Lots of useful knowledge on here. Enjoy.
  11. Do you have a code reader? If so, this should be able to clear the fault, unless the pad sensor was damaged when being replaced?
  12. I brought a 2010 3.0 V6 back in 2021. since then: Fan pulley replaced Rear suspension arm replaced 4 new tyres (standard really) front and rear pads and discs (again standard) Cam belt with water pump Door lock issues Bluetooth issues Parking sensor issues Cross over valve replaced and the general servicing. It does sound a lot, and to be fair, this has cost me a small fortune, but the car should continue for a good few years now and I have had no issues since these were resolved (touch wood)
  13. Common faults usually relate to battery issues. i luckily cover about 60 miles a day on the motorway so my battery stays topped up. But of you don't drive too often then you may need to top up your battery weekly/monthly to ensure the electrics operate smoothly.
