Dekatsos

Hello , My 2010 XF has developed hundreds of spots on the brightwork surrounding the nearside front door window and the offside rear passenger door window. I've tried everything to remove them. The car was just out of warranty when I reported the problem to Jaguar and they have not been able to help, suggesting it must be from an external source ( which is strange as it is on isolated areas each side of the car) and my local dealership have not come across this problem. Could it be a manufacturing fault? The spots have an iridescent blue hue and appear to be below the surface layer of the plastic "chrome." Has anyone out there had the same problem and how did you overcome it?

When not using the air con on my 2010 XF 3.0D the unit smells of very stale urine. Any way to remove this?
