Mk3 Cortina...owned for a week before I wrecked it and traded it for.... Yugo Zastava 513 special....xr2 thrasher. Ford Capri. Sierra 2.8 4x4. Loved this car : ) Cavalier Vectra 1600 ls...gutless so got rid Vectra 2.6 CDX 2001 Then I was introduced to a swapz website which is how I ended up with my xtype... Vectra swaped for Lexus is200...Swaped for BMW 325 2002 swaped for Merc Clk 320....lovely car but a rust bucket swaped for Later 3.2 vectra...wasn't impressed so soon went...swapped for MGZT V6 multi tone paint, needed to much paint work doing and would cost a fortune....swaped for Golf Gti Turbo, expensive when it went wrong, and that was most of the time....swaped for... MGZS V6...too loud and at the mature age of 45 in screamed out mid life crisis.....swapped for XType Jag 2002 V6 auto....all the above have been swapped within the last 18 months but the jaguar I think is deffinately a keeper

Good evening guys n girls Had about 9 or 10 cars over the last 18 months and it's the first time I've owned a X type V6 and I must say I think this one is a keeper...it's had a bit of a hard life and needs a new bonnet and front bumper as someone has done a really poor repair on it but it runs like a dream. Is there anything I should look out for or any issues that they a common for?? Saying that have had 2 little issues already...no heat being pumped out, assume that's a thermostat and just today the fan seems to stay on whilst driving and also at a stand still,and won't stop unless ignition is turned off, haven't a clue on this one as I'm no mechanic ?? Any help or pointers would be great Fanks in advance.. Mark Oh it's a 2001/2 2.5 V6 Auto.
