    cost of dealer ECU updates?

    Im in the U.S. and was wondering if anyone could tell me what I should expect to pay for the latest udates for the trans on a 2000 s type 3.0. Was also thinking of changing the gearbox fluid as well,as I recently bought the car and have no idea when(if) it was done...170k miles. It is really hard to bring out of park,although if I adjust the shifter cable it will shift great for a few days then gradually gets sticky again...stretched cable?...also I have replaced the plastic junk piece in the shifter itself. I always work on my own cars but I'm about to just hand it over to the dealer....any help will be much appreciated...thx Also best places for parts?
