  1. Many thanks ,I hadn't thought of that !
  2. I have owned a 58 plate XF for 18 months and have been delighted with the car with the exception of the electronics which continue to play up occasionally. For the first 3 months of ownership the car was almost impossible to lock on the plipper without the alarm going off and also starting was a problem intermittantly. One Jaguar garage claimed never to have seen the fault before although they claimed to have sorted it . Then after 3 months the car began to behave normally as if to accept me as the new owner (I know it sounds daft). Recently ,however , it has started repeating the problem ,both when locking and starting and I am beginning to lose faith in what otherwise is a superb car. Honest John referred to electronic problems on early models and I wonder whether any other owners have encountered this problem? Howard Jones
