Hi, my cruise control doesn't work. It says it's on but when I press set it tries to kick in (surge) then fails. I have noticed that normal driving (control off) all dash lights off but when I turn on cruise and press set the battery light intermittently comes on. The battery is in good condition and appears to be charging normally.

Hi, ABS and Wiring both fine, I'll health check the battery later. cheers Battery checks out just fine. When I press the set button I cam feel it try and pick up but doesn't lock in. Still have this problem.... to add more info, The battery light stays off in normal running mode i.e cruise control off, when I set it to on the light intermittently comes on ???

Cruise Control say ON or OFF when I press the switch but nothing happens when I press SET. At any speed. 2002 2.5 auto.
