I Collect my Jaguar 3.0d Portfolio 2013 63 plate on 10th Aug. at 5 o'clock (the one in the picture) the remeadial work I wanted done has taken a little longer than anticipated, however the excitement is building now.

Not Much!! My old dad used to say" son if you can't afford to run it don't buy it" A friend of mine has a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow he has a semi-gas conversion i.e. he switches to gas on long runs after the engine is warmed up on petrol, the tank takes a lot of room in the boot and finding a lpg station around the uk is challenging. That said the conversion can save youre pocket quite considerably allowing you to enjoy the refinements at a lower cost. In the end it's whatever floats your boat. Dave

I'm intrigued as to how I can get hold of the discount card available for halfords explanations of how to use it are great. But I must be missing something as I cannot find the simple data of how to obtain the card. Am I missing something or has the discount been withdrawn. Please can someone guide in the right direction. Thanks

Hi thanks Charles, thanks peter, yeah beeen looking for ages at any colour but the Fords favourites :- Black, White, Grey And Silver all the vehicles in the yard were those colours except the one I bought. Brough this fact to the salesmans attention and his reply seems ridiculous, apparently it was the sunami in Japan that caused the problem because the factory that supplied the pigments was demolished by the earthquake etc. that struck the mainland!!!!!! not really plausable in my book, ICI have been making pigment for paint longer than I've been alive ford could purchased some from them however,, On the test drive I was so impressed by the cars performance I wish my wife could have been alive to enjoy it with me. Hi all, been out today and purchased a jaguar xj 3.0D portfolio auto, in Italian Racing Red, on a 63 plate, wow what a car, ivory interior all the toys, from guy salmon here in stockport. Hi haven't got a jag yet but seriously looking to buy tomorrow, a 2011 XJ in Red or Claret, It's currently in Stoke on Trent so I'm looking forward to an exciting day. Is there anything particular to look out for, or worries with the XJ, all reports I,ve read are very encouraging. Wish me luck, all the best. Dave
