    Jaguar x /type diesel auxiliary belt

    morrow posted a topic in Jaguar X-Type Club
    Replaced auxiliary belt and tensioner on my 2008 x type diesel (thought I,d stop the rattling )....1000 miles later it shredded the belt...put old belt back on 3000 miles on.. still fine and rattling away as usual......surely I could not have fitted a wrong belt....the supplier said no....I have another new belt ..it is quite a job fitting it... any ideas...thanks..
