Hi, Most common sources of failure seem to be failed struts or suspension pump. I had 3 struts replaced on my XJR when I lived in Abu Dhabi. The heat and sand there did not seem to agree with the struts. Two were done under warranty mind you.

Hi Tom, I have had this problem before. There are various threads on other forums describing how to resolder connections in speakers. I tried this once and it worked for a while. Eventually I bought secondhand replacement s[eakers and that solved the problem for good.
