Had my XF for just over a week now. Like (love): engine, gearbox, interior style, exterior looks, handling, ride, ambience, lighting Dislike: sat-nav (atrocious), delay/sluggishness on all steering wheel controls (especially cruise/speed limiter control), passenger wiper obscuring bottom left of windscreen, Tomtom gets no satellite signal when dash-mounted

Thank you kindly for your response. Let's see if I can live with it then, otherwise I might have to reluctantly return back to German engineering.

Apologies for visiting an old thread, but I would appreciate information if there was any solution found to this. I purchased the Tomtom dash mount beanbag for my Go 6000, and might be lucky if the device picks up a signal for 1% of the journey.

Old post I know, but can't find this issue posted elsewhere. I have had my 2012 XF 3.0d Prem Lux for just over 2 weeks now, and have the exact same issue; in fact all controls from the steering wheel are sluggish, but especially the cruise/speed limiter adjustment wheel (having just disposed of an 11 year old Peugeot 407 and previously 2012 BMW 116d company car which both responded instantly). Is there any solution, or do I have to live with the sluggish or sometimes none existent responsiveness?

Hi. First ever Jag getting delivered tomorrow (2012 XF 3.0d). Hopefully will not be using this forum to ask for help with problems, but look forward to enjoying being part of the club. Bit of a story regarding 200 mile journey to look at a car which did not have the specs promised over the phone, but dealer did OK by selling me a car 3K more expensive :-)
