Hi all , so i did this swap out today to replace the pathetic standard bulbs in the xf , got phillips extreme white vision for the low beam ( cant believe these didnt come with HIDs as standard ) and also swapped the sidelights out for 8 smd LEDs what a difference , will post up a pic when it gets dark , i recommend this easy diy mod to anyone


Hi Mark is there 3 bolts to get the headlights completely or can u change the bulbs from inside the engine bay cheers Gary

Hi gary , yeah its an easy job one in the front of the wheel arch and two at the top of the headlight , gives you much better access as i wouldnt fancy trying to squeeze in while still mounted , the sidelight is inside the high beam hole on and has a stalk to pull it out , the pic i took was rubbish so will take a better one next dark night lol
