Hi... Just been having a bit of a look after hearing a noise from the rear brakes but I think it's from the diff.. after jacking it up and giving things a good move about, there seem to be a lot of movement in the rear wheels, top to bottom as if you was checking a wheel bearing.. but the movement is at the diff end??.. it's on both sides but the drivers side is a little worse. Is this normal??.. or will I be getting the toolkit out??...

Thanks in advance for any help!!... Andy..

hi andy is ther any oil present !! from the diff , or you could be right ie wheel bearing

There is oil on the diff... I had a look on the interweb and found it a common problem. It's up on the ramp today getting some welding done so I'll have a proper look... I'm guessing it wouldn't pass an MOT with them like it??..
