Just completed a exhaust conversion/mod on a mates 2.0 diesel, I have always thought they look a bit odd with only one shiny tip at the back, Anyhow I painted and fitted an XS rear apron and then tackled the exhausts, Used a set of petrol variant back boxes and flexis, It was a bit of a faff to get everything sorted and measured out but now its done, It looks great and works great, My mate loves the sound and swears blind its a little bit quicker.

Paul showed me your conversion when I went over to Andy's (OC), well impressed and it does sound great. If only I could persuade SWMBO!!

Nice mod

Regards..

Dinkydimps, think outside the box. Car due for mot. will fail due to hole in exhaust. Get twin pipe fitted. She'll never know the difference -_- ;) :D

Hello Bertieboy.

What exhausts did you fit because i have been dying to give my 2.2 diesel a bit of a more interesting sound. Any tips would be great. Thanks.

Hi John

I use oem petrol back boxes and Y pipe, I have been making up the 400mm or so "missing" section with a couple of flexis, It took quite a while to do the first one, I can do one now in about 3-4 hours, I am about to buy a exhaust pipe bender and flarer so I will be offering a one piece solution shortly, Subframe has to be lowered but thats the hardest bit.

Hey BertieBoy. Just wondered how the exhausts you have been making are coming on? I will be considering a new system on mine soon. Thanks.
