Hi to all, im pete from sheffield ive recently bought a 2000 "w plate" manual box s type mot failure.

I knew when i bought the car it was beyond economical repair......which is why i bought it as i want the engine/gearbox/loom for another project that i am building.

On top the car looks fantastic but underneath is a different storey, its as though its been parked in and out of a salt bath for most of its life and is completely rotten underneath.

If i didnt break it someone else would and im hoping i can help out buy keeping some of the others on the road.

Im hoping you guys can point me in the right direction to some tech as to how the abs works and how the speedo runs and traction control etc?

A big ask from a lad thats just posted once :/

Thanks in advance, pete

Thanks for the welcome ken, ive already had a look at the PDFs that have been posted for the workshop manuals/wiring diagrams, will these cover my year s-type? 2000 w?

Such a shame as its a lovely car to drive and so smooth too, shame its in a state that it is :(

Will have parts for sale when the time comes to dismantle (and cheap for forum) hopfully help some of you guys/gals keep your beloveds on the road.
