I have a 2006 "S" type 2.7 diesel automatic which after long journey show a gearbox fault simultaneously with a handbrake fault with heat being generated although not from the engine shortly before the engine cuts out, the back wheels are not hot so the handbrake is not engaged. After cooling down the car starts and drives normally. 2 jaguar dealerships could not get it to fault and were thus unable to do anything. Any ideas as to what is causing the fault would be most welcome
