I needed to access to fuse box located near the accelerator pedal. Using the electric seat button to move It backwards I waited as it came to a stop when I heared a loud click and an 8mm ball bearing suddenly appeared on the carpet in front of me.  I suspect that the ball is part of the seat sliding mechanism but what do I need to do to sort this issue - the seat still operates OK.
