As an addition to the hilarious excuse from the garage as to the value shown by my temperature gauge, I'm struggling for an interior trim piece. The centre arm rest for the Super V8 appears to differ from all other XJ models. My arm rest has a broken clip which means over bumps it flaps open. I'm looking for a replacement item to keep the car original and complete and even through Jaguar can not find one. The part number doesn't seem to exist. There are only 113 Super V8's in the UK and although this sounds trivial, I'm quite OCD about keeping the car original and complete. Any advice as to finding a replacement, or compatible part would be appreciated.
