How easy is it to switch to SatNav Head unit on x-type '07 from non touch screen

Hi,

just got an 07 x-type 2.2d and thinking of swapping the head unit from the basic to sat nav.  I was wondering how easy it is to do, and assume you need a DVD in the boot to operate?

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks
